We never imagined this day would come. The Supreme Court of the United States has overturned Roe v. Wade. Our thoughts are with the patients in states whose dignity has been threatened today and whose futures look less certain.
Some of you may be sad, angry, scared, or a combination of all three. However, we want to assure you that FPA Women’s Health will not be deterred in our mission to support women with the care they need and deserve. Instead, in this moment, we are going to channel our feelings and use them to recommit to our mission to provide quality reproductive healthcare to the communities we serve.
Because we meet these women every day, we know that access to abortion is critical to their health and wellbeing…. and that will never change. Let’s rally together to be available not only to the women of California, but to women from all across this country who need us now more than ever.
