“I had my first ever OBGYN appointment and also a Pap smear. First of all, the nurses I spoke with initially were incredibly kind. I mentioned that I was very nervous, and she answered my questions perfectly and even offered some encouraging words at the end which helped me so much. As far as the time it took, I arrived 15 minutes early and was taken back just a few minutes after my appointment time. Everything moved very quickly — I only waited about another 5 minutes before being brought into the room. They were very respectful of my time and thankfully didn’t leave me waiting long. The Nurse Practitioner, REDACTED*, was amazing. She knew it was my first time and was extremely helpful, even helping distract me once the checkup began. The Pap smear itself was incredibly fast — I thought she was still swabbing, but she had already finished. I only felt some pressure, a bit of stinging, and some cramps afterward, but it was over very quickly. All in all, I will be going here from here on out. I can now attend these appointments without fear of judgment or pain.”
